Nanjing, a city that blends the timeless grace of a six-dynasties ancient capital with the vibrant energy of a modern metropolis. Here lie the national intangible cultural heritage treasures such as Yunjin brocade and gold foil craftsmanship; here also stretch the modern urban arteries forged by an extensive metro network, underground commerce districts and smart utility tunnels. This city vividly interprets the unique “Chinese model” where tradition and modernity intertwine and thrive.
