Nanjing Lukou International Airport is positioned as a “key hub of the world-class airport cluster in the Yangtze River Delta.” Currently, its flight routes connect 78 major domestic cities and 35 international and regional urban destinations. A route network layout that covers domestic regions, extends across Asia, links Europe and America, and reaches Australia has been initially established. In 2017, the airport achieved its 21st consecutive year of safe operations, handling a total passenger throughput of 25.8 million for the year.

Nanjing Metro is an urban rail transit system serving Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China, and the surrounding Nanjing Metropolitan Area. Its origins can be traced back to the Jing-Shi Railway constructed in the 33rd year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1907). It is a member of the Community of Metros (CoMET).
As of December 2025, Nanjing Metro has 13 operational lines, including Lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, S1, S3, S6, S7, S8, and S9. All lines use a metro system, comprising 267 stations (with interchange stations counted multiple times) and a total network length of 525 kilometers. This forms a metro network covering all 11 districts of Nanjing as well as Jurong City.
